Winter Folk…

NEW EXHIBITION! I’m excited to be part of ‘Winter Folk’, which opens 12 Dec at The Courtyard Gallery, Solihull.

As the solstice approaches, darkness crosses our paths, 21 contemporary artists based in the West Midlands have reframed winter as a time of warmth.

Featuring seasonal landscapes, symbolic portraits, woven arts and handmade crafts, this group exhibition showcases folk traditions from the artists’ own diverse cultures. It invites viewers to find enchantment in everyday life.

FREE to visit from 12 Dec – 10 Jan, this exhibition is the culmination of Get Gallery Ready, a free bootcamp developed by Ruth Millington for local artists at Solihull College & University Centre.
